SERVICES:
Oncology program for Seniors – Patients who are 60 or over and have been diagnosed with cancer, can benefit from a specialized assessment at the centre. The assessment is designed to identify and manage problems related to a cancer diagnosis and treatment that may otherwise get overlooked. The assessment's goal is to improve patient’s quality of life, offer reassurance to patient and their family, thereby empowering them to make informed healthcare decisions.
Cancer Genetic Counseling – We help answer questions about the risk of genetic cancers. A genetic evaluation can help clarify whether a patient and their family members have a higher risk of developing certain types of cancer. Evaluations may also suggest actions that can be taken to prevent cancer.
